The Banana Hoard is Donkey Kong's and Diddy Kong's countless supply of Bananas. It appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Donkey Kong Country Returns. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, it appears in the game's adventure mode, The Subspace Emissary. Bowser sends out a Hammer Bro and a Goomba to steal the Bananas. Donkey Kong chases after them as they drive a Cargo at BREAKNECK SPEED. After the ape gets out of The Jungle, he cannot catch up to them due to how fat the enemies are driving. The Goomba then jumps to two Bill Blasters on the Cargo, which then fire three Bullet Bills at Donkey Kong. Diddy Kong then jumps out the Jungle and uses his Peanut Popgun to stop the Bullet Bills. The duo continue to follow the enemies as they move away. Eventually, the Kongs do reach their Banana Hoard, however, Bowser appears and uses his Dark Cannon on at first Diddy Kong, however, DK blocks it and gets hit instead. DK is then turned into a trophy. In Donkey Kong Country Returns, the Banana Hoard appears. It is this time, stolen by the members of the Tiki Tak Tribe who hypnotize the animals of Donkey Kong Island to help them take their Bananas. DK and Diddy Kong partner up and make their way up to where the Banana Hoard is left. They in the end defeat Tiki Tong, causing the Volcano the boss was occuping to erupt Bananas, which are most likely the Bananas of the Banana Hoard. Several of the Bananas hit one of the statues, activating it to summon the Golden Temple. However, before Tiki Tong is reached, the previous bosses use the Bananas of the Banana Hoard for different things: eating, filling up in objects, creating Tikis, etc. Also, the Banana Hoard is seen being carried by a ship in the Jungle's first world, Jungle Hijinxs. A Tiki Pilot found on that ship taunts the Kongs during that moment.
