Big Waddle Dees are enemies that appear in Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Return to Dream Land. They are one of the many sub-species of Waddle Dees. Big Waddle Dees look just like a regular Waddle Dee, just that they are much bigger. In Kirby's Epic Yarn, Big Waddle Dees are very rare in the game. One appears asleep in Castle Dedede of Dream Land. It is immune to Kirby's yarn whip. There is no way to wake up the enemy in Castle Dedede. Kirby can transform into his Weight form over the Big Waddle Dee, however, that defeats it. Two Big Waddle Dees are also spawned by Yin-Yarn during his battle to squash Kirby and Prince Fluff. These Big Waddle Dees fall through the floor and can easily be dodged. In Kirby's Return to Dream Land. Again, they are quite rare, but more common than in Kirby's Epic Yarn. Big Waddle Dees only appear in the pocket dimensions that Kirby and his buddies (Meta Knight, King Dedede, Bandana Waddle Dee) enter via Starry Voids. Some Big Waddle Dees can be found in Cookie Country. All they do is just stand in place, however, they can harm any hero who touches it. Unlike Waddle Dees, Big Waddle Dees must be Super Inhaled into Kirby's mouth. Some Big Waddle Dees also appear in Halcandra (possibly in Egg Engines) with a different appearance. Their Halcandran form looks just like a regular Waddle Dee's Halcandran appearance only bigger. However, Halcandran Big Waddle Dees attack no different from the Big Waddle Dees on Pop Star. There are two enemies made up of three regular Waddle Dees who mock the size of a Big Waddle Dee and are more common than them. They include Puppet Waddle Dees and Armored Waddle Dees. Strangely, even though most big enemies have a lot more health than their normal cousins, Big Waddle Dees do not have health that much higher of a regular Waddle Dee. Therefore, a Big Waddle Dee is just as easy to defeat as a regular Waddle Dee. Just like with regular Waddle Dees, Kirby will not gain a Copy Ability for Super Inhaling a Big Waddle Dee.
