The Kongs stand on a platform right by the letter N, which is located above a Pyrobot in Cog Jog.

Cog Jog is the fifty-first level of Donkey Kong Country Returns, as well as the fifth level of the Factory. The whole entire level using rotating platforms and other types of machinery to get around. The Kongs (Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong) need to time their blasts from Barrel Cannons when there are spaces in the machinery. Most of the platforms in the level do not perform steep tilts, yet some do. So, with that being said, the Kongs must watch the machinery and know when to jump off before they end up sliding off and into the abyss below. Near the end of the level, there are are turf-covered rotating platforms which the Kongs must grab onto to reach the end. Enemies in this level include Yellow Pyrobots, Tiki Buzzes, and Tiki Bombers. Also, this is the first level to feature a hidden red switch that the Kongs must find and pound on to power up the rocket in the later Lift-off Launch; the other levels to feature this same hidden switch include Switcheroo and Music Madness. In Time Attack mode, a time of 1:45:00 is needed to get a gold medal, a time of 2:11:00 for a silver medal and a time of 2:30:00 for a bronze medal.

Overview

Cog Jog 1

The Kongs are about to fire out of a Barrel Cannon through a space in this four-spaced, circular, rotating object to land on another circular, rotating object.

The level begins with the Kongs landing on a floor. There is a lamp behind the Kongs that can be jumped to for a Puzzle Piece. Another lamp is ahead of the Kongs that can be jumped to for a collectible, most likely. Right below the second lamp is a big yellow sign that says "FIND!" A picture of a red switch is right below the word "FIND!" on the sign and a separate arrow sign is attached to the "FIND!" sign. Immediately after these two signs, there is a gap with a circular, rotating platform in it. Even though it may not look like it, this rotating platform is covered in Bananas. Well, not as much as thousands of Bananas, but let's say it holds twenty Bananas (this number is probably incorrect, it is just an estimated guess). It doesn't look that way due to the fact that only half of the circular rotating platform can be seen, and the Kongs will see these halves of circular, rotating platforms a lot throughout the level. Anyway, the Kongs can jump on this circular, rotating platform. They can collect the Bananas here by constantly moving forward on the rotating platform, which is moving the opposite direction of them. However, the Kongs should run too close to the end of the rotating platform or they can fall into the abyss. So, when this happens, to save themselves, the Kongs can move the opposite direction and get carried back to a safe spot (which is the middle of the platform). Anyway, a brown platform is after this circular, rotating platform, and it holds a Barrel on it, as well, as a lamp that may or may not be able to be jumped to for a collectible, most likely. The Kongs can jump to this brown platform. The platform will move down just like an inch or two and make a sound when the Kong stand on it, however, they are still safe and will not fall off. This is just the normal function of these brown platforms; they are not harmful. Anyway, another circular half of a rotating platform is after this, however it holds no Bananas. So, guess it's not special anymore. Anyway, a Tiki Buzz flies left to right above this rotating platform. The Kongs can jump here, however, they should try to land on the Tiki Buzz, so that it is defeated and is not something to worry about when jumping here. If the Kongs fail to do this and land on the rotating platform, they can jump up and land onto the Tiki Buzz when it nears them. Anyway, after the Tiki Buzz has been defeated, the Kongs can notice a small floor with a Pyrobot, a light bulb that can be blown on for a collectible, most likely on it, as well as a lamp that can be jumped to for a collectible, most likely above it. The Kongs can go ahead and carefully jump here, for the Pyrobot is what to watch. Pyrobots first appear in this level, however, they are very common here in the Factory. They appear in Switcheroo, in Music Madness, and in Treacherous Track. These fire hydrant-like enemies can emit flames from their arms and they come in two colors. Yellow Pyrobots have green heads and they take three hits to defeat, while red Pyrobots cannot be defeated period unless hit by any type of Barrel or wiped away from a platform in Switcheroo. Anyway, this Pyrobot here is a yellow Pyrobot. So, when the Kongs land here, they can carefully jump on the Pyrobot three times to defeat it. After this has been done, the Kongs can see a Barrel Cannon above the gap ahead. The apes can now safely jump into the Barrel Cannon without having to worry about being burned by the flames from the Pyrobot. Here, the Barrel Cannon will aim right at another Barrel Cannon, however, the Barrel Cannon has a four-spaced, circular, rotating object orbiting it. So, the Kongs must first wait for a space to come by. When the space does so, the apes can fire through the space into the next Barrel Cannon. Now, here, the objective is just like the previous. However, the Kongs must now move right when firing to land on a circular, half of a rotating platform. So, when a space comes by, the Kongs can fire to this rotating half platform. A Barrel Cannon is after this rotating half platform. The Kongs can go ahead and jump inside this Barrel Cannon, for there is nothing special on this rotating half platform they are on anyway. After the Kongs jump inside it, the Barrel Cannon aims downward to the right diagonally at a Banana Bunch. Below the Banana Bunch slightly to the right diagonally is another four-spaced, circular, rotating object. A Barrel Cannon is inside this four-spaced, circular, rotating object, for the object is "orbiting" it. Once again, when a space comes by, the Kongs can fire through the Banana Bunch into the Barrel Cannon safely. Here, the Kongs must fire and move right to land on a floor above the four-spaced, circular, rotating object to the right. BUT!!! First, they should notice the collectibles on the bottoms of these four rotating platforms among this circular, rotating object. Three out of four platforms hold Banana Bunches. So, if three of them hold a Banana Bunch, what does the other one hold?! Well, it holds the letter K of the K-O-N-G Letters. To receive the letter (which is also the same way to receive the Banana Bunches), the Kongs should fire at the platform with the letter K at its bottom (or Banana Bunch at its bottom) as soon as it comes in front of the Barrel Cannon they are in. Anyway, when a space comes by, the Kongs can go ahead and land on the floor above the four-spaced, circular, object to the right. Here, the apes can see a lamp above them that they can jump to for a collectible, most likely, as well as two higher part of floors. On the highest part of floor, the apes can see a Pogobot hop down from it, onto the next high part of floor (which is lower than this one), hop down onto the floor the apes are on, and continue its journey till it falls in the gap. Here, it is very hard to dodge the Pogobot without being hurt, however, if they sense the enemy landing on them, they should back away. Now, when the enemy jumps, the apes can quickly roll past it. After this has been done.......STOP IN THE NAME OF DONKEY KONG ISLAND!!! DON'T EVEN THINK OF CLIMBING THOSE HIGH PART OF FLOORS!!! There is a secret here. If the Kongs head off the floor's left edge, they can drop through some Bananas into a hidden Auto-Fire Barrel. This Auto-Fire Barrel then quickly aims at and fires the Kongs to another Auto-Fire Barrel to the right of it. This Auto-Fire Barrel, in turn, fires the Kongs up, through a hidden Puzzle Piece, onto the floor once more (hey, a rhyme (floor once more)!). This route is any easy way to avoid the Pogobot. Anyway, on the floor, the Kongs can go ahead and jump onto the first higher part of floor. Here, they can then go ahead and jump on the second higher part of floor. Here, the apes can find a blue object on a stand that can be pounded on to cause it to jump out and explode, releasing a collectible, most likely, and a Barrel. Immediately after this Barrel, there is a VAST gap full of cogs in the background that control platforms and make them move in a circular path or move side to side. If the Kongs stand still they can see a large, long platform holding two yellow Pyrobots on it come by. When it gets near enough, the heroes can go ahead and jump on the platform, however, they should watch out for the dangerous Pyrobots' flames. Here, on the platform, the first thing the apes should do is jump on both Pyrobots three times to get rid of them so that they won't be a nuisance. An easy way to take them out without being more at risk of being burned by their arm's "flamethrower" is to grab the Barrel right before this platform and throw it at one of the Pyrobots. After these enemies, the Kongs can wait for the platform they are on to near a smaller platform. When the platform comes, the Kongs can go ahead and jump on it, however, a Tiki Buzz hovering up and down with a Banana Bunch high above it is right before this platform. So, the Kongs must carefully jump to this platform or they can get hurt. Anyway, on this platform, the apes can find two more similar platforms after this one; the first holds a light bulb that can be blown on for a collectible, most likely. These platforms also move in a circular motion. These two platforms move the same direction as the previous, for all three of them move together. Anyway, the Kongs can go ahead and jump on the first platform, which holds the light bulb that can be blown on for a collectible, most likely. Here, the apes can then jump on the second platform. On this third platform, the Kongs can see a medium-sized platform tilting left to right constantly while moving in a circular motion. A Tiki Buzz is right before this platform and it hovers up and down. So, when the Tiki Buzz is in the Kongs' way, they can go ahead and jump on this medium-sized platform. Here, because this platform tilts so much to one side that the Kongs can slide off it, the heroes should jump and hover continuously while the platform moves in its circular path. Soon, the Kongs will see a Banana Bunch in midair with another tilting platform moving in a circular path after it. This platform has a light bulb that can be blown on for a Puzzle

Piece. The Kongs can jump here as soon as it gets close enough. Here, the Kongs can blow on the light bulb for the Puzzle Piece, however, they will have a hard time doing this due to the platform's continuous tilts. So, the Kongs must try to blow it while avoiding falling off the platform. Anyway, soon, another Banana Bunch with another tilting platform that moves in a circular path is seen. The Kongs can jump here. Here, they should jump continuously on the platform as it moves in its circular path. Soon, the platform will tilt with its right side pointing up and near a Banana Bunch with the letter O and a floor after it. This floor has two lamps that can be jumped to for a collectible, most likely, a DK Barrel, the Tutorial Pig, who hosts the first checkpoint, and a Pyrobot on it; the Pyrobot and the second lamp cannot be seen from the platform. Anyway, to reach the letter O, which is in midair right before the floor, the Kongs should roll when this platform tilts and jump to the letter O. They can then land on the floor. The floor is made up of two higher part of floors attached to a lower floor, which holds the Tutorial Pig and the first checkpoint in the middle. Anyway, after the checkpoint, the Kongs can jump on the other high part of floor and give that Pyrobot a good three jumps to get rid of the nuisance. Also, the Kongs can throw the DK Barrel at it too to get rid of it immediately, however, if the DK Barrel touches the flames emitted from the Pyrobot's "flamethrower" arms, it breaks the Barrel and forces the heroes to defeat the enemy with three jumps instead. Anyway, on this higher part of floor, after the Pyrobot has been defeated, the Kongs can see a gap with a rotating object that holds two platforms on it. One platform is on one side of the object, and another is on the opposite side of that platform. So, when a platform comes by, the Kongs can jump on it. They will be taken up. Soon, they will come by a strange opening in an object just after where a Tiki Buzz to the left flies. If the Kongs carefully jump here, they can enter a Bonus Room. However, they must do this carefully for that Tiki Buzz is right before the opening in the object. After this opening, it won't be long before the platform carries them to the top, where a lamp is found. If the Kongs jump into the lamp, it releases a Puzzle Piece for them to collect. Wow, interesting! Anyway, this jump should be timed, for if the heroes hit the lamp at an incorrect time, the Puzzle Piece will not land on the platform, but, instead, it will land in the abyss below. After this lamp, the Kongs are taken down to the right, where they can see a brown platform with a Banana Bunch and a trail of two Bananas positioned vertically above it. A Barrel is on this brown platform too. The Kongs should jump here. Here, they can see a floor ahead, that holds just a light bulb that can be blown on for a Heart, most likely. Yeah, they could jump here. BUT!!! A Tiki Bomber is here too!!! Ah ha ha ha! Didn't tell you that though (hope you didn't jump there already)! So, first the Kongs should wait for the Tiki Bomber to send blue flames out in both directions twice. After it does so, the heroes should quickly jump on this floor and blow on the enemy to get rid of its flames. Also, the Kongs can grab the Barrel and throw it at the enemy after it sends flames out twice to defeat it too. Anyway, after it is defeated, there is one more thing here. It's the large tilting object above them that is made up of three platforms, one above the other. There is a secret found here. Yeah, there are a lot of Bananas to the sides of the platform, yet that's not the secret here. If the Kongs go ahead and jump on the first platform of this large object, they should try avoiding sliding off the platform until the object tilts to a point where all of its platforms' right edges are pointing up (this is when it is going down). When it does so, the apes should quickly jump on the second platform. Now, they should once again wait again for all platforms' right edges to point up again while avoiding falling off the platform. When this point come back again, the Kongs can quickly jump on top of the third platform. Now, here, the Kongs should jump continuously to avoid falling off as the large object moves up. Soon, it moves up to a Puzzle Piece the apes can jump to. Also, the very top of both long, vertical trails of Bananas to the sides of this object can be found here. So, if the Kongs jump to the one on the left or right, they can fall through many Bananas (and a Banana Bunch which is at the bottom of both trails of Bananas), which are automatically added to their collection. Anyway, after this large object, the Kongs can see another brown platform which they can jump to right away. Here, they can see another tilting platform which moves along some cogs controlling it. This platform tilts even more than the ones than the letter O, meaning it doesn't slide the Kongs off of it, instead, IT DROPS THE KONGS OFF OF IT!!! So, when this platform is close enough and is not too steep to jump onto, the Kongs should jump here. Shortly, the Kongs will near another platform that behaves just like the one they are on. The only difference between it and the ones the Kongs are on is that it points in the opposite direction of the previous. BUT!!! There is a sandbag in the air between these two platforms. Yeah, we've encountered many sandbags in our journey, so we should know that sandbags can only be burst with a Barrel or DK Barrel. So, the Kongs would've had to carry the Barrel before the Tiki Bomber all the way here and jump into the sandbag to burst it for a Puzzle Piece. Well, it sounds pretty hard, looks pretty hard, but it really isn't much of a challenge. All the apes must do is avoid the Tiki Bomber, which isn't very hard due to the large, three-platformed object above it, and avoid slipping off the first tilting platform before the sandbag. Anyway, the Kongs should go ahead and jump onto this platform after the sandbag (which is right in front of them). As soon as the Kongs land here, they should jump and hover into a Barrel Cannon after this tilting platform because the platform is about to tilt all the way, causing the Kongs to plunge (quick drop, enthusiastic attempt, meaning gotten from thesaurus.com) into the gap below. Anyway, in the Barrel Cannon, the objective for the Kongs is to fire into a Barrel Cannon that is surrounded by two large platforms "orbiting" it. So, when a large space comes by, the Kongs should immediately fire into the next Barrel Cannon. Here, the apes must now fire through a large space and move right to land on a brown platform with a Banana Bunch not too high above it. So, when a space comes by, the Kongs should immediately fire and move right to land on this brown platform. Here, the camera zooms out a bit to put a large half of a circular object after the brown platform. The Kongs can jump here. In the top middle of the large circular object (or wheel, or whatever), the Kongs (and the player) can notice a group of Bananas forming an arrow pointing downwards. Well, what the heck is this supposed to mean? It is not begging you to collect it, but it is pointing out a secret. If the Kongs pound the area beneath the "arrow of Bananas", a noise (which we all have heard several times before) is heard and the giant, circular object begins to rotate. The Kongs should balance themselves, by jumping up and down continuously while this object rotates. Soon, the object stops rotating and a gray part in the middle of the object opens. The Kongs can drop into the space created by he gray part to land in a skull Barrel Cannon (skull Barrel Cannons/Auto-Fire Barrels explode/destroy themselves, whatever you want to call it, after firing the Kongs). The skull Barrel Cannon points downward and the apes can fire into somewhere, yet it is not a Bonus Room. Instead, the heroes will land in a room with a large red switch on the floor, as well as two yellow signs on the sides of it warning players that the switch must be pounded. Also, a giant plug with a giant outlet above it can be seen close in the background. So, if the Kongs jump and pound on this glowing, red switch, they can notice the plug in the background move into the outlet, and some stuff begins to get powered. Shortly after this is done, a skull Barrel Cannon appears from above and stops right above them (or let's say the switch if you are not on the switch). So, since there is nothing else to do in here, the Kongs should jump in the skull Barrel Cannon, and fire outta there! They will land on top of the gray part of floor, however, it cannot be pounded any more and it is not open either. So, the Kongs can just go ahead and jump on a gray platform ahead of them to their right, which holds a Banana Bunch above it. After this brown platform, the

The Kongs have pounded the blue object on the lower part of floor to the left of this floor made up of two lower part of floors and one higher part of floor. The picture, which was taken by me, Smashbro8, has what an exploded blue object on a stand looks like. A Heart can be seen being released. Also in the picture, one can see a Tiki Bomber firing blue fireballs to the left and right. Wow, interesting pic full of action, isn't it?

Kongs can see a Tiki Buzz moving up and down, and a floor made up of two lower part of floors and one higher part of floor (the complete opposite of the one with the first checkpoint on it). This floor has a lamp above both of its two lower part of floors that can be jumped to for a collectible, most likely. The second lamp, which is above the lower part of floor to the right can be jumped to for a Banana Bunch. A blue object on a stand is on the lower part of floor on the left and it can be pounded on for a Heart, most likely. Also, on the higher part of floor, there is a Tiki Bomber and a light bulb that can be blown on for a collectible, most likely. A light bulb that can be blown on for a collectible, most likely is on the lower part of floor on the right. Anyway, when the Tiki Buzz is not in the Kongs' way, they can jump onto the first lower part of floor, which is the one to the left. Here, the heroes should wait for the Tiki Bomber to fire blue flames in both directions twice, then quickly jump on the platform. This time, even though it is my, Smashbro8's opinion, the Tiki Bomber should be avoided so the apes don't get burned by it as it comes closer to the left edge of the higher part of floor. So, the Kong should just go ahead and drop onto the lower part of floor on the right. Here, the apes can see a Tiki Buzz fly up and down right before a brown platform with a Banana Bunch not too high above it. A Barrel Cannon is after the brown platform. So, when the Tiki Buzz, is not in the Kongs' way, they should quickly jump on the brown platform. Here, they can jump into the Barrel Cannon. The Barrel Cannon aims up at a four-spaced, circular, rotating object. Some of the four platforms have a Banana Bunch on their tops (which may be appear to be their bottoms from the Barrel Cannon). However, the objective for the Kongs here is to fire into a Barrel Cannon directly above them. So, when a space comes by, the Kongs should quickly fire into this Barrel Cannon. However, the good news is that if the Kongs do hit the "bottom" of the one of the four platforms, they will bounce back into the Barrel Cannon since it is right underneath them. Now, since the Kongs are still around the four-spaced, circular, rotating object, they must now fire through a space to land in a Barrel Cannon above them to the right diagonally. The Kongs can see a Puzzle Piece above them to the left, however it cannot be reached from here since the Barrel Cannon cannot point to the left. So, when a space comes by, the Kongs can fire into the next Barrel Cannon. If they miss and instead hit a platform, they will bounce back into the Barrel Cannon. In this next Barrel Cannon, the Kongs can fire onto a platform nearing them that belongs to an object that holds two platforms moving in a circular path attached to it. Here, the Kongs can wait for the platform to take them to the top of the area. When it does so, if the apes roll-jump backwards, they can land on one of the four platforms of the four-spaced, circular, rotating object right before this. Here, the apes can then jump into the Puzzle Piece here, then land in the Barrel Cannon inside the object and repeat the steps to get back to the rotating object with two platforms. Anyway, on the platform of the two-platformed, rotating object, the Kongs will soon come close to a floor with the letter N above it, two lamps that can be jumped to for a

collectible, most likely, and a yellow Pyrobot. This floor is made up of two higher part of floors with a lower floor, which is where the Tutorial Pig hosting the second checkpoint is found. Hmmm, much like the one with the first checkpoint. Anyway, a Tiki Buzz is right before this floor. So, when the Tiki Buzz is out of the way, the Kongs can jump onto the higher part of floor that holds the yellow Pyrobot. To reach the letter N, they would have to jump and hover to it as soon as the platform nears it or high bounce off the Tiki Buzz beneath it. Anyway, here, they should first wipe away the yellow Pyrobot with three jumps on it. Anyway, after this, the Kongs can go ahead and jump on the second higher part of floor. Here, they can find a large gap with a Tiki Buzz and a curved platform covered in grassy turf after it, which moves in a circular motion. So, watching the Tiki Buzz, when the curved platform gets near, the Kongs can jump and cling onto it. Wait a minute. This isn't grassy turf, IT'S A BUNCH OF GREEN CHAINS!!! No wonder it looks so....different! Factories...it's all machinery and tools. Anyway, soon, as the platform nears its highest point, another curved platform will appear from above, however, it faces the opposite direction of the one the Kongs are on so that they can grab onto it. It also moves counterclockwise while the one the apes are on moves clockwise. As soon as this platform comes into view, the apes can jump and cling onto it. The apes should continue to cling onto it until the platform comes near a brown platform. When it does so, the Kongs should jump onto this brown platform. BUT!!! There is a secret here! Let's say you are too lazy to jump to the brown platform or your hands are tired. If the Kongs stay clinging onto this curved platform, they can be carried to the final Puzzle Piece in the level, which they can jump to. Anyway, here on this brown platform, they should wait for a tilting, long platform to come by. When it does come by, the Kongs should jump on it carefully. On top of this tilting platform, the Kongs should jump continuously to prevent them from falling off the platform. Soon, the platform nears a brown platform and starts to tilt a lot to the left. So, to prevent themselves from falling off, the Kongs should jump to this brown platform almost immediately after it comes into view. Here, the Kongs can see a Tiki Buzz hovering up and down in front of them. Yeah, yeah, so what. Gimme more! However, after the Tiki Buzz, it won't be long before a platform that belongs to a single-platformed, rotating object comes by. The platform holds a light bulb that can be blown on for a Banana Coin. Anyway, the Kongs can go ahead and jump here, when the Tiki Buzz is not in front of them. The platform will soon near a long, tilting platform covered in green chains. When the long platform comes into view, the Kongs should carefully jump and cling onto it. As the platform tilts, it will move down, carrying the Kongs close to a brown platform with a Tiki Buzz hovering side to side over it. If the Kongs drop on the Tiki Buzz (since the brown platform cannot really be seen) or just drop down to whatever part of it can be seen. Anyway on this brown platform, the Kongs should wait for a curved platform covered in green chains comes by. When the curved platform comes by, the Kongs should jump and cling onto it. Here, the platform can carry the Kongs close to a two-spaced, rotating object that "orbits" a Barrel Cannon. So, when a space gets near, before the curved platform carries them away, the Kongs should quickly drop into the Barrel Cannon. Here, the Kongs must now fire through a space in the object to land on a curved object covered in grassy turf that moves in a circular motion. Pretty tricky here, ehh? Yep, it's a bit more challenging, but here's how you do it. When a space gets near, and the curved platform comes into view, the Kongs should fire and move right to land on the platform. Here, they should immediately cling onto the platform so that they don't fall off. The curved platform will soon carry the Kongs toward a Banana Bunch. Not too far after the Banana Bunch is another curved platform that comes from above. Like the first two curved platforms, this platform faces the opposite direction and moves in the

opposite direction of the previous. So, the Kongs should cling onto it. Here, they can notice that this curved platform is actually orbiting the letter G. Well, it would've looked better if they added a second platform to orbit it, but who cares. However, the letter G cannot be reached from here. You see, the Kongs cannot jump on top of the curved platform from here, nor can they reach its underside from here. So, the Kongs must wait for the curved platform to near a small floor with a yellow Pyrobot on it and a lamp that can be jumped to for a collectible, most likely, above it, which isn't much of a long wait. The Kongs should jump here and give the Pyrobot a good three hits to defeat it. Now the Kongs can roll-jump into the letter. Another easier way is to wait for the platform to reach its highest point. Quickly, the apes should move to the right edge of the platform and jump and hover in midair. If done correctly, the apes will fall through the letter and land on the underside of the curved platform. Quickly, the apes should jump to the top part of the curved platform, which is really the left edge (which is colored gray). From here, the apes can then jump to the platform with the yellow Pyrobot on it and lamp above it. Well, guess that wasn't an easy strategy at all. Anyway, the Kongs can head to the right edge of this platform. Here, they can find a Barrel Cannon pointing up over a gap. If the Kongs jump into it, it points to the right at a two-spaced, rotating

object that moves in a circular motion. The platforms of this object orbit the level's Slot Machine Barrel. If the Kongs wait for a space to come by, they can fire into the Slot Machine Barrel safely. When the Slot Machine Barrel is hit, the level is complete!

K-O-N-G Letters

  • Cog Jog Letter O

The Kongs jump to the letter O.

K: When the Kongs enter the fourth Barrel Cannon in the level, they will have a four-spaced, circular, rotating object "orbiting" them. The letter K is on the bottom of one of the four platforms that move in a circular motion. When the platform with the letter K on its bottom comes into view, the apes can fire to it. They will collect the letter and bounce back into the Barrel Cannon.
  • O: The letter O is just before the first checkpoint in the level. If the apes jump on the last tilting platform before the letter repeatedly, they will soon see the platform near a floor with the letter O before it, and its right edge starts pointing up. If the Kongs roll-jump off this platform when its right edge is pointing up, they can hover into the letter O.
  • N: Much like the letter O, but it is just before the second checkpoint, instead. The Kongs must high bounce off a Tiki Buzz beneath it to reach it.
  • G: This one is tricky, and it is around the last curved platform covered in green chains in the level. The Kongs must drop toward it as the wide gap in the platform is under them. However, it is getting back to place safely that is the hard part (look above).

The Kongs the level's Bonus Room.

At the very beginning of the level, the Kongs can jump into the lamp behind them. When they do so, it releases a Puzzle Piece.
  2. When the Kongs reach the floor with two more higher part of floors and a Pogobot on it, they should head backwards and drop into the gap beneath them. They will be caught by a hidden Auto-Fire Barrel. The Auto-Fire Barrel fires them to an Auto-Fire Barrel. This Auto-Fire Barrel then fires them up into a Puzzle Piece, back onto the floor they were just on.
  3. On the second-to-last tilting platform before the letter O, the Kongs must carefully blow a light bulb on the platform to cause a Puzzle Piece to be released from it. However, the Kongs must watch out, for they can slide off the platform too!
  4. Shortly after the first checkpoint, the heroes can see a two-platformed, rotating object above them. If they jump on one of the platforms that comes by, they can be carried upwards. Soon, they will notice a strange opening in a pipe-like object to their left, with a Tiki Buzz right before it. So, watching the Tiki Buzz, the Kongs can jump and hover into the object's opening to enter a Bonus Room. Here, the Kongs must collect fourty-four Bananas and four Banana Coins by bouncing on a moving trampoline. If everything is collected within thirty seconds, a Puzzle Piece appears for them to bounce to.
  5. On the same platform that leads to the Bonus Room, the Kongs should ignore the opening and be carried up some more. Here, they can find a lamp above the platform's highest point. If the apes jump into this lamp, it releases a Puzzle Piece, however, the jump must be timed, for it can land in the gap below if timed incorrectly.
  6. Shortly after the fifth Puzzle Piece, the Kongs will reach a floor with a large object made up of three platforms tilting and moving up and down above it. If the apes climb up this tilting platform by waiting for each platform's right edges to point up, they can reach the top of the third platform of this large object. Here, the Kongs should balance themselves (jump up and down repeatedly) until the object takes them towards a Puzzle Piece in midair, which can be jumped to.
  7. Shortly after the sixth Puzzle Piece the apes can reach a platform that tilts a very lot on each side. Here, if the Kongs balance themselves (jump up and down repeatedly) here, they can be carried towards a sandbag and another tilting platform. However, to burst this sandbag, the apes must carry the Barrel seen just underneath the large object that can carry the Kongs to the sixth Puzzle Piece to it. Here, they should then jump into the sandbag with the Barrel to burst it, making it release a Puzzle Piece.
  8. Shortly after the letter N, the Kongs reach a Barrel Cannon which is being "orbited" by a four-spaced, circular, rotating object. A Puzzle Piece can be seen however, it cannot be reached. So, the Kongs should fire through a space here to a Barrel Cannon. Here, the Kongs can then fire onto a platform that belongs to a two-platformed, rotating object. So, here, the Kongs should roll-jump backwards (to the left) where they can find themselves on one of the four platforms of the four-spaced, circular, rotating object, most likely. Quickly, the apes can jump into the Puzzle Piece and fall inside the Barrel Cannon inside the object. They must then repeat the steps to get back to this two-platformed, rotating object.
  9. When the Kongs reach the second curved platform covered in green chains after the letter N, they can ignore the platform ahead of them and let the platform carry them towards a Puzzle Piece after it, which they can jump to.

Rocket Switch

  • Cog Jog Hidden Switch Entrance

The Kongs stand on the large, half of a circular object with an "arrow of Bananas" pointing down on it. If the apes pound this object in the middle, they can unlock the entrance into the room with the rocket switch.

Shortly after the seventh Puzzle Piece, the apes can reach a large, half of a circular object with an "arrow of Bananas" pointing down on it. If the Kongs pound this circular object, a common sound is heard, and the object starts to rotate. Soon, it stops rotating and a gray part in the middle of the object busts open. If the apes drop through the narrow pathway, which the gray part was covering, they can enter a skull Barrel Cannon, which fires them into the room with the rocket switch. Here, if the Kongs pound this glowing, red switch, they can see a large plug in the background move into an outlet, and things start getting powered. All of this is in the background, by the way. This powers up the rocket in the later, Lift-off Launch. Soon, a skull Barrel Cannon appears from above, which the Kongs can enter to fire out of the room. They will then end back onto the large, circular object, where they can continue their adventure through the level.
