Flamers are enemies that appear in Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Return to Dream Land. They are red/orange, spherical creatures with a black eyeball in the center (in Kirby's Epic Yarn, Flamers eyes and bodies are all orange). Flamers have four knobs that are colored orange (Kirby's Epic Yarn) and pink (Kirby's Return to Dream Land). These knobs expel fire. When Flamer starts spinning, it sheaths itself in flames and starts moving around the stage. In Kirby's Epic Yarn, Flamers ignite themselves when Kirby gets too close, however they never leave the surface they are clinging to. Flamers stop burning when Kirby gets too far away from them as well. If Kirby hits a Flamer with a yarn whip, they charge after him. In Kirby's Return to Dream Land, Flamers cling to surfaces and move around. In both games, Kirby (or Meta Knight, King Dedede, Bandana Waddle Dee) will take damage if they come in contact with a Flamer.
- Flamers act and resemble the Glires, Glices, and Glunders from The Subspace Emissary of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This is because both have resemble tires with eyes in the center and both have the ability to cling onto surfaces and move around on them. However, there is one difference: Glires spit fire when the player gets near, Glices spit ice when the player gets near, and Glunders spit electricity when the player gets near. Also, Glires, Glices and Glunders can be defeated.
- Flamers have an eye that is similar to those of Waddle Doos.
