Gardevoir is a type of Pokemon that comes out of a Poke Ball in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It is a common type of Pokemon to come out of a Poke Ball, meaning that it will be seen quite often when using Poke Balls. When Gardevoir comes out of a Poke Ball, it says its name and uses its attack, which is called Reflect. It will surround itself with a circular shield and walk about the stage or the entire time until it disappears. WHAT!!! ALL IT DOES IS THAT??!!! Well, let's explain about Gardevoir. Gardevoir's circular shield is only useful when it comes to projectiles, for every projectile (such as Mario's/Luigi'sFireballs or Ray Gun/Super Scope shots) that touches its circular shield will be reflected. Also, if one character happened to be within the circular area of the shield and uses a projectile, that projectile will immediately be reflected and damage that character. So basically, if Gardevoir appeared using Reflect and nobody fired a projectile for the entire time that Gardevoir is there, then Gardevoir will be a useless Pokemon, much like Goldeen. Sorry buddy, but Gardevoir is harmless when it comes to touching it. So if nobody fires a projectile when Gardevoir is there....YOU'RE OUT OF LUCK!!! But guess what! Gardevoir has the most powerful reflector in the game. Every projectile reflected doubles its Damage, speed and, of course, Knockback. Gardevoir's circular shield can also set off Snake'sDown Smash (the mine he plants in the ground). Gardevoir also has its own Trophy in the game.

An Embrace Pokemon. Despite its elegant, feminine appearance, there are both male and female Gardevoir. A Psychic type, it has the ability to predict the future and levitate. It's a brave Pokemon that will rise its own life to protect its trainer. It uses the ability Synchronize to pass on status problems like poison, paralysis, and burn to its foes.
Gardevoir uses its circular shield near Lucario on Pokemon Stadium 2.
