Gray Bowser Statues are obstacles/enemies that appear in Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Mario Kart Wii, and Mario Party 8. They are, of course, gray statues of Bowser. They shoot fire or electricity at players depending on the game. In some games, they do nothing but loon menacing. In Super Mario Galaxy, they only appear in Bowser's Galaxy Reactor, the last galaxy where Mario fights Bowser. A few make an appearance on the Starting Planet and several other Gray Bowser Statues appear on the Tower Planet of this galaxy. These Gray Bowser Statues do not attack at all; they only look menacing. When they are destroyed by a Bullet Bill, they leave behind one Coin. In Super Mario Galaxy 2, they appear in Bowser's Lava Lair and Bowser's Galaxy Generator. The ones in Bowser's Lava Lair appear on the Lava Cube Planet. While Mario rides the Snake Block across the lava, they at first do nothing

but look menacing. BUT! When Mario nears them on the Snake Block, they come to life. The statues face each other and emit a line of electricity across the Snake Block, which must be avoided or Mario will take damage. The one in Bowser's Galaxy Generator is found on the Galaxy Generator Door Planet, and even though it is much bigger than the ones in Bowser's Lava Lair, it does nothing but look menacing. In Mario Kart Wii, they appear in Bowser's Castle courses and will shoot a stream of fire that can hurt the racers, causing them to spin out. However, the Gray Bowser Statues in this game are stationary. In Mario Party 8, Gray Bowser Statues appear in minigames where they need to get hit.
