A Gummit is an enemy in Super Mario Galaxy 2. They can be in various colors- green which is worth 10 points, gold which is worth 50 points, and spiked which pushes Mario back and waste time. Gummits appear in the Freezy Flake Galaxy mission- The Chimp's Skating Challenge. They later appear in the Shiverburn Galaxy's mission- The Chimp's Ultimate Skating Challenge. Both missions are given by The Chimp who rewards Mario with a Power Star if he defeats enough Gummits within the time limit. Gummits appear on an icy floor and Mario must skate over them to get enough points which completes the challenge.
