Hammer

The Hammer is an item in Super Smash Bros. Brawl that lasts for 7.5 seconds. It is a black hammerhead that has a wooden stock. The hammer can deal heavy damage and knockback, commonly making the character that was hit fly off of the screen. Often, the hammer head can fly off, which it can then be used as a projectile throwing weapon, which can deal heavy damage.

Kirby's side special attack is also called the Hammer. This attack is often powerful, and can deal a heavy amount of damage. It also has a very slight horizontal hover ability, but is small, it often doesn't matter.
