Hearts are items in Donkey Kong Country Returns. They are red hearts that glow with a red light. Their role is much like the Super Mushroom in the Mario (series). Touching a Heart gives to Donkey Kong's and Diddy Kong's Health Meter. However, not all hearts are in easy to grab places, for some take skill, time and moves to reach. Some even take intelligence to reach! Look at the gallery's pictures below to find out that some Hearts are really in difficult places.
