Jibberjays are characters in Super Mario Galaxy 2. They are bird-like creatures that have a habit of repeating words. The come in various colors mainly orange, but also red, green, black and yellow. They appear in the Wild Glide Galaxy as NPCs who give information to Mario about Fluzzard. After earning the 43rd Power Star in Beat Block Galaxy, they will send a letter to Mario, challenging him to a race against their colorful species. Jibberjays are later seen in Fleet Glide Galaxy. A Jibberjay is one of the species found on Starship Mario, but only after the player completes the race in the Wild Glide Galaxy.
