This is a picture of a Scarfy in Raisin Ruins of Kirby's Return to Dream Land.

Scarfies are enemies that appear in Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Return to Dream Land. They are enemies who appear at first as round, orange balls with a cute (somewhat Kirby-like face) and pointy, cat-like ears. However, when Inhaled (Kirby's Return to Dream Land only) or if they touch Kirby, these enemies turn into a grayish brown colored, horrifying, one-eyed creature with fangs. This form is known as their "Mutant Form". In Kirby's Return to Dream Land, Scarfies in their Mutant Form will chase Kirby and the heroes around. Upon coming in contact with Kirby and the heroes or staying too long in Mutant Form, causes them to explode. However, Scarfies are different in both Kirby games. Let's start with Kirby's Epic Yarn. In Kirby's Epic Yarn, these enemies cannot be Inhaled. So with that being said, Scarfies will turn into their Mutant Form and chase Kirby when he gets near them. Kirby cannot roll up a Scarfy or use a beam to defeat them while in Saucer form.

However, Scarfies can be defeated if Kirby uses his Weight form on them or if he uses the Saucer's electricity attack (Saucer form) on them. Scarfy is also one of the many things that can be purchased in the Furniture Shop. Now, in Kirby's Return to Dream Land, there is a pink variant of a Scarfy. They look just like regular Scarfies except that they are pink and their Mutant Form is a bright red color. These pink Scarfies on turn into their Mutant Form if Kirby or one of the other heroes (Meta KnightKing DededeBandana Waddle Dee) steals a nearby Key. Therefore, they will chase Kirby and the heroes until they drop the Key or if they unlock a nearby Door with the Key. In EX Mode, more pink Scarfies appear than in the normal game.
