Waddle Doos are enemies in Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Return to Dream Land. They have a similar appearance to Waddle Dees but are a bit different. Waddle Doos are round, orange/red orange creatures who have small round arms. They have a tremendous eye in the middle of their heads. Above their eyes are two small strings of black hair. Waddle Doos are also capable of charging a beam attack, which they use to attack Kirby and his buddies (Meta Knight, King Dedede, Bandana Waddle Dee, etc) in both Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Return to Dream Land. If Kirby or one of his buddies gets shocked by the Waddle Doo's beam attack, they will take damage. However, Waddle Doos do not seem as aggressive as they actually are, since when the heroes are not seen yet by them, they either play with their hair (Kirby's Epic Yarn only), walk around, or charge their beam attack. Waddle Doos are also present in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. They appear in King Dedede's Side Smash and also in his Final Smash, Waddle Dee Army. In both attacks they are the middle enemy used to attack if you go by appearance. That means Waddle Dees are more likely to show up than Waddle Doos, however, Waddle Doos are more likely to show up than Gordos. In King Dedede's Side Smash, Waddle Dee Toss, the chances of throwing a Waddle Doo is 35%. Once a Waddle Doo has been thrown, it will land on the ground (if it has hit an opponent, it will give the opponent little Damage and Knockback, yet more than a Waddle Dee, and then land on the ground) and walk around. It occasionally uses its beam attack while walking around before it disappears. Any opponent hit with the beam attack will take Damage. The Waddle Doo also has its own Trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
- It is to note that in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Waddle Doos' eyes are octagonal instead of circular.
- In the beta version of Kirby's Return to Dream Land, a blue Waddle Doo was to be a playable character.
